I know i know this is the LONGEST post in the history, but seriously if you are looking for a good read you have come to the right place! I made the mistake of listing our video camera for sale on Craigs List. To make a long story short I found out shortly after I sent the pkg off the NIGERIA that he was indeed a fraud! Read on for the convo. Ryan had with him after we learned what he really was!

HAPPY ENDING: The Airport Post Office intercepted our package & it is on it's way back to us :) This "Macus" fellow emailed us this morning saying that paypal promised him we would get the money his money in 12 hours. HAHAHA! WHO IS THE FOOL NOW???

Oh man the same thing happened to us! Aaron was trying to sell his old drumset and this guy from some other freakin country who talked stupid just like your guy said he wanted to buy it and that he would pay us more then what we were asking but he wanted us to send $500 to him in Florida but send the package to another country. He said he was just visiting Florida but whatever. So we get this check that looks legite, it even has the Chase bank logo on it and Aaron takes it to the bank but as he is the drive thru he has this bad feeling not to cash it yet without checking it out with the bank. so he took it inside and sure enough it was a fraud check and if we would have cashed it we would have had to pay the bank the amount of money the check was made out for because the money has to come from somewhere and we would have been stuck with it. Can u believe that! Luckily we didn't mail the drumset yet and Aaron was smart enough to listen to that small voice. When we confronted the man about it he ignored us and all of a sudden his english got really good. They say that one tip to tell it is a fraud is if you have to mail it out of the country and if they talk with broken English. We never ship out of the US now. I am so glad you guys were able to work it out. Some people totally suck!

There is SOOOOO much Fraud going on right now! Be careful! Glad you guys got everything figured out in time! I heard on the news this couple sold the wife's wedding ring and the same thing happened. Brandon's dad has been looking at boats, and it has been fraud so many times! Geez
That is ridiculous!!! I am happy that you got your camcorder back! But that guy is LAME!

What?! That is ridiculous! I'm glad your story has a happy ending. Stupid people! When we were trying to sell the trusty ol' minivan before we moved a guy from overseas wanted to "buy" it. I mean, seriously, it was a '99 and had 170k miles on it!
